We have had the pleasure of participating in fun and exciting community events this week!
The Plymouth Chamber of Commerce celebrated their annual awards banquet at the Osthoff Resort in Elkhart Lake; not only were this year’s award winners announced, Governor Scott Walker was in attendance to give an overview of the state’s economic status and hopes for the future. A heartfelt note of congratulations to all nominees, thank you for continuing to make Sheboygan County and Plymouth a better community, we appreciate your philanthropic efforts.
The following day, we were invited to visit with the Sheboygan County Historical Museum and Society and the Sheboygan County Historical Research. For roughly one hour we were able to tell the story of our founder, Tec Roberts, his commitment to his family and the families in Plymouth as well as describe our offerings of products and services. An honorable feature as the museum highlights Sheboygan County’s rich industrial heritage (mission: to collect, preserve and educate about the history of Sheboygan County.).
It is weeks like these, where we are able to engage with community members, that makes calling Sheboygan County our home even more special.
Next week we celebrate a (young) woman who will be retiring after 25 years with Plymouth Foam; she is very special to us and we can’t wait to showcase her story and photos of her retirement party.
