We’ll Miss You, Sandy!

Late last week we celebrated the retirement of one of our most enduring associates, Sandy Cook.

Celebrating 25 years with our company, Sandy reminisced about how she will miss her coworkers (but interjects with the first item on her retirement list is to turn off her alarm clock!) and asked her fellow teammates to keep the company heading in a positive direction.

During her time with us, Sandy was passionate about her role in our gluing department; helping assemble fabricated parts as a lead operator. She participated on the company’s activities committee, spending time exercising her creative mind while planning holiday parties and the holiday float. She was a helping hand whenever needed and had an admirable trait in her attention to detail.

Her efforts did not go unnoticed by our management team. Our Vice President of Operations, Mark Schuh, expressed the following: “Sandy will be greatly missed by the entire organization.  Her vast knowledge, experience, creativity, and problem solving ability will not be easy to replace but what will be missed most is her work ethic and smiling face.  I wish her the best in retirement.  She has earned a relaxing next chapter in her life with her body of work over the last 25 years!”

Our President and CEO, David Bolland echoed Mark’s comments by stating, “An important predictor of Plymouth Foam’s success remains our ability to attract and retain team members like Sandy.  Sandy’s contributions are immeasurable…we are grateful for what she has done for our past, present, and future stakeholders.  We wish her the best in her retirement endeavors.”

Please enjoy photos of her retirement party; we hope you enjoy the happiest of times in the next stages of life (and well wishes for a green thumb!), Sandy! You will be greatly missed.
