Veterans Day 2021

Thank you, veterans! While we are thankful everyday for the sacrifices our service members have made, we set aside time today to pause, reflect and be thankful for those, past and present, who have so gallantly stepped up to protect our freedoms.

If you know a veteran, perhaps today is the day to reach out. Strike up a conversation or simply thank them for their service. It is the least we can do for all that they (and their families) have done for each one of us.

Our team at Plymouth Foam, an Altor Solutions Company, would especially like to thank current members of our PF family who have served in the United States Armed Forces.

Did you know?

Veterans Day originated as “Armistice Day” on November 11, 1919, the first anniversary of the end of World War I. Congress passed a resolution in 1926 for an annual observance, and November 11 became a national holiday beginning in 1938. In 1954, President Dwight D. Eisenhower officially changed the name of the holiday from Armistice Day to Veterans Day. (Veterans Day Facts)
