Every year, in partnership with our local United Way, Plymouth Foam associates celebrate a Day of Caring. Why give back? At Plymouth Foam our team members are no strangers to giving back to our communities; we are passionate about helping others.
This year we ecstatic to be assigned to the Sheboygan Jaycees Dominion of Terror. Our crew is responsible for projects such as painting, cleaning and helping organize for the haunted house. Our People and Culture Leader, Deb Develski, stated the following: “I had the opportunity to work with our associates on this project during the 2018 Day of Caring. I didn’t realize painting and cleaning could be so much fun. It’s a great opportunity for associates to give back to our community, meet other community leaders and work together in a different setting.”
We are very excited to be sponsoring and participating in the 2019 Day of Caring kickoff event along with hundreds of corporate volunteers, campaign coordinators, nonprofit leaders and community members. The Day of Caring Event, hosted by the United Way of Sheboygan County, is an annual event that demonstrates the true power of collective impact.
The Day of Caring celebration kickoff off started TODAY (Thursday, September 12th, 2019) at 7:30am in the Sheboygan A’s parking lot. The day ends with Taste Sheboygan, the annual celebration of local food, music and collective impact!
By The Numbers
On September 13, 2018 – 960 individuals participated in 2018 Day of Caring by completing 52 projects for 32 nonprofit agencies across Sheboygan County. The day concluded at Fountain Park for Taste Sheboygan.
