Day of Caring 2018 - United Way of Sheboygan County

United Way of Sheboygan County – Day of Caring 2018…It’s all about giving back!

Every year, in partnership with our local United Way,  Plymouth Foam associates celebrate a Day of Caring. Why give back? At Plymouth Foam our team members are no strangers to giving back to our communities; we are passionate about helping others.

We are very excited to be sponsoring and participating in the 2018 Day of Caring kickoff event along with hundreds of corporate volunteers, campaign coordinators, nonprofit leaders and community members. The Day of Caring Event, hosted by the United Way of Sheboygan County, is a annual event that demonstrates the true power of collective impact.

The Day of Caring celebration kickoff off started TODAY (Thursday, September 13th, 2018) at 7:30am in the Sheboygan A’s parking lot. The day ends with Taste Sheboygan, the annual celebration of local food, music and collective impact!

By The Numbers

In 2017, more than 550 individuals attended the Day of Caring kickoff event; these volunteers worked at 35 nonprofit project sites throughout the day.

“With over 50 projects this year, we are excited to announce there will be almost 1,000 volunteers participating in the 2018 Day of Caring,” said Lee Anne Raleigh, United Way of Sheboygan County Volunteer Center Coordinator. “Collectively, we are making a huge impact across Sheboygan County.”
