October is Manufacturing Month, Wisconsin!

October is Manufacturing Month, Wisconsin! Did you know? Wisconsin’s number one industry is manufacturing. Manufacturing employs more than 470,000 people and creates nearly $60 billion in economic output.

As part of our continued efforts to increase awareness of the opportunities available in manufacturing, Governor Evers has, once again, proclaimed October as Manufacturing Month in Wisconsin. The recognition gives us all the chance to reaffirm the importance of manufacturers to our state’s economy.

“We’re delighted to support Manufacturing Month along with our fellow manufacturing company colleagues.  Every month is manufacturing month for us, but we ask ‘what image does manufacturing portray for you?’. We invite you to experience today’s version of manufacturing – an environment focused on our people and culture,” said David Bolland, President and CEO of Plymouth Foam.  “We look forward to hosting your visit.”

To support this month’s initiatives,  Plymouth Foam will be participating in an exciting event!  On Friday, October 11th we will then host Sheboygan County Chamber of Commerce for a manufacturing tour. Chamber Members that are interested in a tour should confirm their participation by registering online
