Albert Einstein said, “We cannot solve our problems with the same thinking we used to create them.” This statement is our base for innovation; outside the box thinking that is used to create products. Being innovative is more than just creating something new, it is the ability to understand how we have done things in the past and courage to move forward with different ideas or future products.
Innovation requires integration and coloration. A thorough understanding for the materials being utilized and confidence to combine unconventional materials; finding a successful solution that is not industry standard.
Our approach as to how innovation is a key factor in our everyday lives comes directly from our employees; the customer service associates who ask the right questions to better understand what you as the customer are exactly looking to accomplish, our creative designers and product engineers who work on the product development process. We were fortunate enough to receive their feedback on how their particular roles play into innovation.
“Our conversation with the customer really pertains to what they are doing and understanding their current processes. We don’t necessary need to understand the product but we assess who it is impacting in order to help uncover what we could potentially be doing to resolve the problem. Our interactions are the base for building lifelong relationships.”
“When our team is presented with a potential new product are thoughts are focused on what they are looking for, the ideation for why this product exists in the first place. We prototype until criteria for flexibility, insulation and recyclability are met; several samples are produced and continuous modifications are made until the product actually goes into production.”
Innovation requires integration and coloration. A thorough understanding for the materials being utilized and confidence to combine unconventional materials; finding a successful solution that is not industry standard. This is the reason why we continue to ask questions about who this product impacts and why it even exists in the first place. Innovation makes use of the diversity found in our products.
