When we get asked this question: “Does Airpop® EPS Destroy The Environment and Poison The Water?” We are always happy to provide an answer. We know it as one of the biggest myths in our industry. Today, we are the Mythbusters and understand the need to educate others on this perceived topic.
First things first, we always like to reiterate that Airpop® EPS is made with 98% air. Yes, made with 98% air; hence the name Airpop® (EPS)! In fact, Airpop (EPS) is an inert material without harmful chemicals that off-gas or leach during its use of disposal. Airpop® EPS does not harm the environment.
When speaking packaging, Airpop® (EPS) is approved as a safe choice for use in food by government regulatory agencies throughout the world. We also would like to add, Airpop® We know it as one of the biggest myths in our industry (EPS) is a recyclable material which, when recycled properly, can help to create a more sustainable environment.
