In celebration of last week’s completed CrossFit® Games in Madison, Wisconsin…We wanted to make sure you heard the news about Plymouth’s newest CrossFit® Gym! If you follow our weekly blogs, you’ve heard the buzz and excitement about the partnership between CrossFit® Eastern Ridge and Plymouth Foam (and of course the new CrossFit® gym, which is open to the public).
It is with great excitement that we share: CrossFit® Western Ridge is now an official affiliate CrossFit facility!
How it all started…
The idea started one year ago when David Bolland, president and owner of Plymouth Foam and Martin Harms, head coach and owner of CrossFit® Eastern (and Western) Ridge began discussing ways to grow CrossFit’s impact in the area through a Plymouth location. “This is CFER’s second location in Sheboygan County, a project in the making since 2011,” added Harms.
Plymouth Foam is a proud supporter of any program that encourages an active lifestyle. This is an added incentive for our associates as part of their benefits package which includes a reduced rate membership to the CrossFit® facility.
The CrossFit® Games
Last week, the CFER team headed to Madison, Wisconsin to watch the CrossFit Games®. The CrossFit Games® are the world’s premier test to find the Fittest on Earth™. CrossFit® is one of the fastest growing sports since 2007. Throughout stages of the CrossFit® Games, hundreds of thousands of athletes are whittled down to the world’s fittest 40 men, 40 women, 40 teams, 80 teenagers and 240 masters. The CrossFit® Games events are made up of a broad range of functional movements; functional movements that are taught at CrossFit® gyms like ours.

CrossFit® Western Ridge is located at 1800 Sunset Drive, Plymouth, but accessible from Highway C on the southwest corner of the Plymouth Foam facility.
