Sheboygan County Chamber Announces 2018 Chamber Champions Winners

SHEBOYGAN – The Sheboygan County Chamber of Commerce has announced the winners of the 2018 Chamber Champions Gala, held on Tuesday, Feb. 20, at The Osthoff Resort in Elkhart Lake.

The Chamber’s sold-out event welcomed more than 650 attendees who celebrated the accomplishments of 77 Chamber Champion Award nominees.

“This remarkable event celebrates the best of the best,” said Chamber Executive Director Deidre Martinez. “We recognize these leaders and their far-reaching contributions to our county’s business growth and development. A sincere thank you to our sponsors for this special event, who make this evening of recognition possible.”

Winners

  • Ambassador of the Year, winner: Deb Valenstein-BMO Harris (award sponsored by Olivü 426)
  • Culinary Star, winner: The Blind Horse Restaurant & Winery (award sponsored by Miesfeld’s Market, Inc.)
  • Manufacturer of the Year, winner: Masters Gallery Foods, Inc. (award sponsored by Lakeshore Technical College)
  • Nonprofit Charity of the Year, winner: Mental Health America in Sheboygan County (award sponsored by Sheboygan Senior Community, Inc.)
  • Retailer of the Year, winner: Relish Kitchen Store (award sponsored by ClearTrack Financial Advisors, LLC)
  • Services Organization of the Year, winner: Acuity Insurance (award sponsored by Champion Storage & Rental, LLC)
  • Tourism Gem of the Year, winner: 3 Sheeps Brewing Co. (award sponsored by Gerhard’s Kitchen & Bath Store)
  • Working Together, winner: Coastal Cares (award sponsored by Thrivent Financial – Tim Saeger)
  • Safety Leader, winner: Alliant Energy (award sponsored by Rockline Industries, Inc.)

Also recognized were retiring board members Louie Gentine, Sargento Foods Inc.; Andy Bagnall, HSHS St. Nicholas Hospital and Dave Hoffman, Sheboygan Squared.

Additionally, Elkhart Lake’s Road America was named Friend of Tourism.

Emcee for the night was Lindsay Harrison-Eirich, owner of Engaged Social Marketing Co., and platinum sponsors for the evening were Aldag-Honold Mechanical Inc., Holy Family Memorial, Masters Gallery Foods, Prevea Health and Van Horn Automotive Group.
