As has been our practice for many years, Plymouth Foam Inc. has again elected to make a donation to a worthy charity in lieu of providing holiday gifts and remembrances to our customers. We feel that this way of celebrating the holidays is in keeping with the real spirit of connection with others and the true meaning of Christmas.
This year, we are very pleased to have chosen The American Red Cross as the recipient of our donation and we are commemorating that decision by sending a vintage tin of selected first aid items from their catalog.
Clara Barton and a circle of her acquaintances founded the American Red Cross in Washington, D.C. on May 21, 1881. As one of our nation’s premier humanitarian organizations, the American Red Cross is dedicated to helping people in need throughout the United States and, in association with other Red Cross networks throughout the world. They depend on the many generous contributions of time, blood, and money from the American public to support their lifesaving services and programs.
This year’s package is a combination of a die-cut, corrugated, mailer carton and an insert that is extruded polyethylene (PE) foam fabricated on our water-jet to demonstrate the intricacy and precision that we can achieve with this piece of equipment.
